TC 25 Hiding or Seeking

A lot of times we hide in our comfort. When CHRIST seeks to

send us into a place that may be uncomfortable, but growth

will transpire.

- We hide from the inconvenience of change.

- We hide in fear of opinions

- We hide in low expectations because if you don’t expect much,

you will not be disappointed. (Pastor Steven Fredrick)

- We even hide our identity and who we truly are so we don’t

have to deal with the person in the mirror. (Repeat)

- Some of us are hiding, because we are afraid of the

transformation that we’ll receive if we truly sought after

God!

- But if you would step out.. GOD will show you his hand!

God is calling you out of your hiding today.

⁃ You’ve been hiding in grief

⁃ You’ve been hiding in your past

⁃ You’ve been hiding in your fear

⁃ You’ve been hiding in your relationship and you don’t know

who you are called to be anymore

⁃ You’ve been hiding in parenthood

⁃ You’ve been hiding in that position and job

⁃ You’ve been hiding in unforgiveness

⁃ You’ve been hiding in your comfort

⁃ You’ve been hiding in your pain

⁃ You’ve been hiding in a false identity because you are

ashamed of the one in the mirror
